Everything You Need to Know About European Windows & Doors

Clear answers about our products, custom manufacturing, technical requirements, factory-direct importing, delivery, and warranty coverage.

What is the typical lead time for a custom order?

Most custom orders are manufactured and delivered within approximately 10–12 weeks after all dimensions, specifications, finishes, and payment requirements have been finalized. Oversized units, specialized glass, custom finishes, and shipping conditions may affect the final schedule.

Our systems can be configured to meet many U.S. project requirements, including energy efficiency, safety glazing, structural performance, egress, and other project-specific criteria.

Available testing and certification documentation depends on the selected system, glass package, unit size, and configuration. We review project requirements before the order is placed, while final approval remains subject to the architect and local building authority.

PRO Windows & Doors currently specializes in the supply and delivery of custom windows and doors. We do not provide installation services.

Installation should be completed by the homeowner’s, builder’s, or general contractor’s qualified installer. Our team can provide product documentation and technical coordination before delivery.

Our products include an official manufacturer warranty of up to 15 years against covered manufacturing defects, depending on the selected system and components.

Specific coverage may vary for frames, insulated glass, finishes, seals, and hardware. Complete warranty terms are provided with your proposal or order documents.

For the most accurate proposal, please send us:

  • Architectural plans or a window and door schedule
  • Unit or rough-opening dimensions
  • Preferred opening configurations
  • Interior and exterior colors
  • Glass and performance requirements
  • Hardware or screen preferences
  • Project delivery address

When complete plans are not yet available, we can begin with sketches, photographs, or preliminary dimensions.

Because every unit is custom-manufactured, all final dimensions must be confirmed and approved before the order is released for production.

Final measurements are typically provided by the customer, builder, or installer unless field measurement services are specifically included in the proposal. Our team reviews the submitted plans and schedules to help identify inconsistencies before manufacturing begins.

Nearly every part of your order can be customized, including:

  • Window and door sizes
  • Opening styles and configurations
  • uPVC or aluminum systems
  • Interior and exterior finishes
  • Double or triple glazing
  • Tempered, laminated, acoustic, or decorative glass
  • Hardware colors and security options
  • Screens, thresholds, and accessories

Our team will help match the appropriate system and options to your design, performance goals, and budget.

Depending on the selected system, we offer double- and triple-glazed packages with Low-E coatings, argon-filled insulated glass, warm-edge spacers, tempered glass, laminated glass, acoustic glazing, solar-control glass, and other specialized options.

We can also review project-specific U-factor, SHGC, safety-glazing, and acoustic requirements before preparing the order.
